At a time when opportunities for Islamic education are growing in importance, we present IQRA, a comprehensive book series designed to strengthen children's connection to their Muslim identity and provide parents with resources for homeschooling.

Level 5:

At level 5, students continue to work on the five prescribed prayers and the ritual purity and ablution (wudu). By memorizing Surah 84 - The Cracking (al-Inshiqaq), Surah 83 - Those Who Cheat With Weights and Measures (al-Mutaffifin) and Surah 82 - The Leaving (al-Infitar) (with brief explanations of each Surah) they increase their knowledge about the Koran, and also gets to learn a little about the rules around reading it. The concepts of goodness (ihsan) and sincerity (ikhlas) are reviewed, and an introduction to the understanding of God as the Lord of creation (ar-Rabb) is given. At the level we also tell about the circumstances surrounding the beginning of the revelation, and a little about the first Muslims.
